Project 'Running4air' was conceived by Martin Nobbs and Ian Mayhew in connection with their forthcoming attempt at the Jungle Marathon 2008 (www.thejunglemarathon.com ). The aim of the project is to use the Jungle Marathon as a vehicle to raise monies to buy a chunk of Rain Forest to help preserve this hugely important natural resource.

Martin and Ian will be working in conjunction with the Charity Cool Earth (www.coolearth.org ).

This website will provide people with an opportunity to follow the progress of Martin and Ian  both in respect of their training and ultimately progress in the Jungle Marathon and in respect of the amount of monies raised.

Other runners who would like to help raise funds for this cause are very welcome to come on board. Details of how to make a donation wil appear shortly.
